November 2009QUADCO was incorporated in 1988 to pursue the commercialization of a research and development program—the Quad-Tooth©. The business’ first orientation was replacement parts, which were followed by the actual tree felling attachments and eventually many more products through more R&D and acquisitions. Quadco is a privately owned company with its corporate office in Quebec, Canada. The U.S. division is based in Lexington, South Carolina, with fabrication facilities, parts distribution, and a service center. Our products are available worldwide.
Quadco has sought to develop technically competitive advantages for its products in order to differentiate itself from its competitors. The company’s focus is cutting tools and wood harvesting attachments. To this day, it remains its orientation, thus resulting in proficiency in this domain and thereby establishing Quadco as a leader in its fields. The company continues to invest significant resources in R&D in order to offer products that exhibit more environmentally friendly qualities, as well as low operating costs and high mechanical availability. Our cutting tooth division is focused on cutting efficiencies in the logging, mulching, and grinding industries. We are taking these industries from a hammer style to a slicing action with the Quadco tooth, thus increasing production and improving the quality of the end product. ■
